Behind The Cover

Do you judge a book by it’s cover?

I’ll be the first to admit that the cover is the first thing that draws me in to a book; but it’s not the deciding factor in whether I purchase that book or not.  The description is what does it for me.  It’s something about the words behind that beautiful picture, that get to me.  I’ve read descriptions before that were so good, without even glimpsing a cover; and new instantly that I wanted it.

People, like books, have so many layers.  The outside can be beautiful; but if the content on the inside is dull and unappealing, what’s the point?  Take a look past the cover, dig deeper; and then decide.  When it’s all said and done, don’t you want quality; even if it’s not the most popular person or thing?
